Social Media Producer (Atlanta or Remote)
Sports Card Investor, the leading source of sports card news, data and analysis, is excited to expand its quickly growing team with the addition of a Social Media Producer.
If selected for this role, your primary focus will be to research and publish content for all of Sports Card Investor social channels.. Additionally, we’ll ask you to contribute to the strategy of our products, and suggest great ideas to expand our impact.
You might be great for this role if you enjoy staying at the forefront of social trends and news within the sports card industry, can create captions and copy on the fly, are skilled at building relationships online, are passionate about contributing to engaging content, work quickly, and want to geek out with the rest of our team as we revolutionize the sports card hobby.
This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. We are work-from-home friendly, so we are open to candidates located anywhere in the continental United States, although candidates located in or near Atlanta will get priority consideration. Occasional travel (4-6 times per year) to our headquarters in Atlanta and industry events will be required.
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Has 1-3 years of social media management experience
- Has managed multiple social media channels simultaneously
- Has experience building and maintaining social media calendars
- Can find news stories and updates from various sources in the sports card hobby
- Is great at building online relationships
- Can maintain a consistent online voice and presence
- Has experience with social media scheduling tools
- Constantly seeks out the latest creative and social trends
- Follows sports closely and is a sports card collector or investor
- Is dedicated to hard work and hustle
- Is a strong team player
- Sees this opportunity as more than just a job
- Identifies trending or emerging topics that are both interesting and relevant to our community
- Has an in-depth understanding of the sports card industry, including familiarity with different card manufacturers and brands
- Has experience writing engaging scripts for social videos, integrating research to keep content timely and appealing
- Can assist with content to expand our weekly newsletter
Bonus points for:
- Has basic graphic design experience (Photoshop or Canva)
- Previous experience with Google Drive, Slack, and Asana
- Being located in or near Atlanta
