We are currently hiring four full-time positions:

 

Video Editor & Videographer (Atlanta)

Sports Card Investor, the leading source of sports card news, data and analysis, is excited to expand its quickly growing team with the addition of a Video Editor and Videographer in Atlanta, Georgia.

If selected for this role, your primary focus will be to edit videos for our popular YouTube and social channels. You will also be asked to film and produce shows in our Atlanta studio and do on-location filming for special events.

You might be great for this role if you love editing and filming fun and creative videos and have a passion for storytelling. If you also happen to be a sports fan or have a passion for collecting cards and memorabilia of any type, you’ll feel right at home.

This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. This role is located in Atlanta, Georgia at our office within CardsHQ and is not available for remote work. Some travel (6-12 times per year), including weekend work and travel, to film industry events will be required.

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Has at least 2 years of video editing and videography experience
  • Has a strong portfolio of video editing and videography
  • Has edited videos for YouTube, Instagram and other social media sites
  • Is proficient in Final Cut Pro X 
  • Ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment
  • Often uses DSLR/mirrorless cameras for filming 
  • Passion for videography/storytelling
  • Shows strong creative talent and attention to detail
  • Organized and managed media for multiple projects at once
  • Is comfortable working with quick deadlines and turnarounds
  • Takes pride in their video work
  • Is a great team player and willing to help the goals of the production department
  • Has general knowledge of the major professional sports
  • Has some card collecting experience or a desire to learn

Bonus points for:

  • Vlog-style filming and editing in your portfolio
  • Having photoshop and graphic design experience
  • Being a collector of cards or memorabilia
  • Has worked in professional studios

Social Media Manager (Atlanta)

Sports Card Investor, the leading source of sports card news, data and analysis, is excited to expand its quickly growing team with the addition of a Social Media Manager in Atlanta, Georgia.

If selected for this role, your primary focus will be to create highly engaging content for all of our company’s various social channels. Additionally, we’ll ask you to contribute to the strategy of social channels, as well as suggest great ideas to expand our impact.

You might be great for this role if you enjoy staying at the forefront of social trends, are excellent at taking compelling photos and short-form videos for social, can create engaging captions and copy on the fly, are great with building relations online, work fast, and want to geek out with the rest of our team while we’re revolutionizing the sports card and trading card hobby.

This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. This role is located in Atlanta, Georgia at our office within CardsHQ and is not available for remote work. Occasional travel (1-5 times per year) to various industry or team events will be required. 

 

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Is a social media junkie
  • Excels in content creation on social media, connecting with multiple active follower bases throughout the day 
  • Is excellent at taking compelling photos and short-form videos for social
  • Is a strong copywriter for social captions
  • Integrates best practices to drive engagement and growth across all social platforms
  • Is adept at constructing a strong presence across various platforms ultimately driving business objectives 
  • Is current on social trends, emerging platforms, and competitive landscapes 
  • Is proficient in social data analysis
  • Can contribute to product and campaign strategies
  • Flexible schedule that allows for availability during events, often including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of social media management tools
  • Is a sports fan
  • Is a card collector or has a desire to become one

Bonus points for:

  • Basic graphic design experience (Photoshop or Canva)
  • Previous experience with Google Drive, Slack, and Monday.com

Digital Marketer (Atlanta)

Sports Card Investor, the leading source of sports card news, data and analysis, is excited to expand its quickly growing team with the addition of a Digital Marketer in Atlanta, Georgia.

If selected for this role, your primary focus will be to help us to leverage online platforms to drive business growth and collaborate to craft compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences. 

This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. This role is located in Atlanta, Georgia at our office within CardsHQ and is not available for remote work. Occasional travel (1-3 times per year) to industry events will be required.

Where looking for a candidate who:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven track record of executing successful digital marketing campaigns and achieving measurable results.
  • Creates compelling and targeted content and ads for digital platforms, including web, social media, email, and digital display advertising.
  • Can manage all aspects of digital campaigns, including planning, implementation, optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different digital platforms and target audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including social, sponsorship, graphic and video to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, and proactively recommend new strategies and technologies to drive growth.

Event Coordinator For CardsHQ (Atlanta)

Are you passionate about bringing people together for fun and memorable experiences? Do you have a knack for organizing events and creating a welcoming atmosphere? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! CardsHQ is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to help us host exciting gatherings for our community of sports cards and trading card game enthusiasts.

About Us:

CardsHQ is more than just a store; we’re a hub for sports card and trading card game lovers to connect, trade, compete, and have a blast!

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and execute a variety of card-related events and tournaments, including trade nights, trading card game tournaments, new release events, birthday parties, youth sports team parties and more.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop creative event ideas and promotions to engage our community and attract new customers and trading card enthusiasts.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as scheduling, prize support, promotional materials, and venue setup.
  • Communicate with players, customers and guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure their experience is top-notch.
  • Manage event registration, check-in, attendee lists, and all other coordination for day of management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for sports cards and trading card games and a genuine interest in creating enjoyable experiences for guests, customers, and players.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to routinely work evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules.
  • Previous event planning or coordination experience is a plus but not required.
